PROPEL Marketing Accelerator is a 4-day training program that combines hands-on mentorship with a curriculum built by experienced marketing professionals to take the overwhelm out of marketing. We teach entrepreneurs/business owners and mid-level marketers how to strategically align their marketing with their business goals and build an implementation plan to put it all into action.

PROPEL Marketing Accelerator is a specialized program that teaches business owners how to employ industry-leading marketing tactics to help them achieve their business goals. This program will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to create a successful marketing strategy and implementation plan tailored to your company’s specific needs.

At the end of this training, you will have the roadmap you need to begin making effective marketing decisions that propel your business forward.

DAY 1: FOUNDATIONS

Hit the ground running on day one by laying the foundation for your marketing strategy. The three pillars of your foundation are your brand, aligned marketing goals, and ideal audience personas.

PILLAR ONE: BRAND

An in-depth understanding of your brand is at the heart of a good strategy. What is the purpose of your business? What does your business value? How do you want to be perceived? What kind of imagery represents your business? These are just a few of the questions you will answer while refining your brand.

PILLAR TWO: MARKETING/BUSINESS GOAL ALIGNMENT

One of the most common mistakes we see business owners make is not aligning their marketing goals with their business goals. When these two sets of goals align, your marketing efforts will have more impact. More impact will drive better results. And better results will help you achieve your goals faster and more effectively.

PILLAR THREE: AUDIENCE PERSONAS

To lay the final piece of your marketing foundation, you will do a deep dive into your ideal audience. Drill down the different segmentation areas so you know exactly who you should be talking to. The most successful marketing is tailored so precisely to the intended audience that when they experience it, they will know, without a doubt, that that product or service is meant for them.

MODULES AND LEARNING OUTCOMES:

Get to know you. In the opening module, we will get to know you and your business by reviewing the pre-work questionnaires. Expect to identify the pain points with your business and/or its marketing and set your goal for the program.

Brand identity. In the second module, you will establish your brand image, voice, and tone. You will determine your business’ core values and purpose and learn how to let them steer your marketing efforts. Expect to understand your business on an entirely new level.

Goal setting. In this module, you will review your business goals, sharpen them if needed and prioritize them. You will learn the importance of aligning your business and marketing goals. Expect to set at least three marketing goals that will help you achieve your business goals.

Audience personas. In the final module of day one, you will determine who your ideal customer is. Learn how to use segmentation techniques to create detailed audience personas so you can tailor your marketing perfectly for them.

COURSEWORK TOTAL: 6 Hours

DAY 2: LANDSCAPE

Once the foundation has been laid for your marketing strategy, it’s time to observe and analyze the landscape.

When we talk landscape, we are primarily referring to who else is out there (i.e. your competitors) and what is going on in the world/your city/industry that could potentially impact your business. Sort of like a SWOT, but we make it a lot cooler.

Once you have an idea of your landscape, you can begin to identify the marketing tactics available to you and understand which ones to use to help you achieve your goals.

MODULES AND LEARNING OUTCOMES:

Competitive intelligence. In the opening module of day two, you will learn how to analyze the competitive landscape to identify opportunities. Expect to gain a clear picture of your competitors and their marketing efforts.

Obstacles and opportunities. In this module, you will assess the potential obstacles and opportunities for your business. You will learn how to mitigate risk and capitalize on opportunities. Expect to identify a few opportunities to take advantage of in the coming months.

Marketing tactics. The final module of this session involves a deep dive into all of the marketing and communication tactics, touchpoints, and tricks available in the current marketing landscape. Expect to leave with a shortlist of new tactics you are excited to try.

DAY 3: JOURNEY

You’re halfway there! Day three is all about the customer journey.

Gone are the days when you can expect a customer to learn about you or hear from you once before making a purchase. We (as humans in society) want to be nurtured a whole lot more than that before we’re ready to make a purchase. Understanding your customers’ journey is essential so that your marketing strategy and implementation plan can support them along every step of the journey.

A big part of any customer journey is a company’s website. We will end the day with an interactive session on website and SEO best practices, led by Forward Level’s team of web experts.

MODULES AND LEARNING OUTCOMES:

Customer journey. In the opening module, you will learn about the different phases of the customer journey and how they can be used to support your business goals or when launching something new. Expect to map your customers’ journey, identify any holes or missed opportunities and remove any redundancies or inefficiencies.

Tactics meet journey. In this module, you will learn which marketing tactics are commonly used during each phase of the customer journey. You will identify the tactics currently in use by your business and determine if they are being executed in the correct phase of the customers’ journey. Expect to adjust current tactics and identify opportunities to use new tactics.

Website and SEO. In the final module of the day, you will learn best practices for creating and maintaining a compelling website that is search engine optimized. How many different fonts should I use? Does video slow down my site? How can I rank higher on Google? Bring your burning questions to this interactive session led by Forward Level’s team of web and SEO experts.

COURSEWORK TOTAL: 6 Hours

DAY 4: PROPEL

Our final day together is dedicated to propelling your business forward.

A large piece of the marketing puzzle is content. Learn how to create content that attracts the right people, engages leads, and nurtures those leads into loyal customers.

Put the finishing touches on the strategic marketing plan you’ve been building over the last four weeks so you know exactly where you’re going and how to get there. This is your marketing strategy in action!

MODULES AND LEARNING OUTCOMES:

Content strategy. In the last opening module, you will determine your content needs based on your customers’ journeys and your selected tactics. You will learn the concept of anchor content and determine your anchor channels.

Content development. In this module, you will learn what to say, where, and why it matters. Expect to put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) and create content in this mini-workshop led by Forward Level’s content team.

Putting the pieces together. In the last module of the program, you will finalize all parts of your marketing strategy. You will create an implementation plan outlining the next steps, priorities, and important dates.

Visit our Request a Quote page and choose the PROPEL cohort that works for you. Once you submit your request, we will provide a training quote which you will need to complete your CAJG training application.

Once you have received confirmation of receipt for your CAJG application, you can proceed to our Enroll page to secure your spot for an upcoming session!

Once the training has ended, complete and submit a Training Completion form to receive payment or have your employer do so.
